The Langhe Bianco Cinerino of Marziano Abbona winery is one of the few cases of wine-making of the Viognier in the heart of the Langhe, a territory known for the traditional cultivation of other vineyards. This kind of wine is produced with late grapes; moreover the name of the wine derives from the memory of cinerini herons, that periodically were in the vineyard of San Luigi in Dogliani. The wine has a golden straw yellow colour and presents an intense and fruited perfume, with some spiced hints. The taste is round balanced and harmonic, and it is the ideal for combinations with shellfish, steamed fishes and fresh cheeses.
