Description

Marche Bianco igt Arkezia by Tenute San Sisto Fazi Battaglia is a still and sweet white wine made with 100% Verdicchio. The grapes are dried on the vine to enhance the development of the noble rot. After the harvest the wine ages in French oak barriques for 12-24 months, then 6 months in bottle. Into the glass it is bright golden yellow with transparent shades. The bouquet is seducing and wide with hints of ripe fruits, dried apricot, acacia honey, mediterranean herbs, hay and broom. The sip is surprising, with an increasing sensation of candied fruits, almond, saffron. The aromatic complexity and the light sugar content make Marche Bianco igt Arkezia by Fazi Battaglia very pleasant to drink, never too heavy. We recommend it with blue cheese, foie gras or as meditation wine.
