Description

The Barolo wine is known as the “king of all wines, the wine of the king”; it is a noble and generous wine that has given birth to the history of Italian oenology. The “Ciabot Mentin Ginestra” Barolo wine is produced with grapes coming from the homonymous vineyard collocated in the Ginestra Cru in Monforte d’Alba; this wine takes the name from the dialectal term, “ciabot”, that means little countryside house, that once was owned by the brothers Fiore and Mentin. This is an elegant and aristocratic wine that presents an intense ruby red colour, while the bouquet is various, floral and spiced with scents of rose and dry roses, blueberries, jams, fruit, black pepper, licorice and tobacco. Thanks to its peculiarities, this Barolo wine is perfect in combination with platters based on red meat, as roasts, game, and platters based on the famous Alba truffle, or seasoned cheeses.
