Description

Ripe al Convento Castelgiocondo by Marchesi Frescobaldi is an elegant Brunello di Montalcino, made from Sangiovese grapes grown in a small, beautifully exposed vineyard on the highest hills of the estate. It presents a brilliant ruby red color in the glass. On the nose, it develops a broad and complex bouquet, with fruity aromas of cherry, blackberry, wild berries, and pomegranate. On the palate, it impresses with its full and harmonious flavor, powerful yet well-balanced, supported by dense and elegant tannins. Ripe al Convento by Marchesi Frescobaldi is an extremely refined wine, boasting a solid structure and a remarkably long aromatic persistence. With excellent aging potential, Ripe al Convento pairs beautifully with roasts and stews, flavorful pasta dishes, Tuscan pecorino cheese, and Tuscan cured meats.
