Description

CastelGiocondo by Marchesi Frescobaldi is an aristocratic Brunello di Montalcino, born from a rigorous selection of Sangiovese grapes grown on the CastelGiocondo estate, where altitude, well-draining soil, and southwest exposure create the ideal conditions for cultivating this ancient grape variety. Visually, it captivates with its intense and brilliant ruby-red color. On the nose, it stands out for its elegance and intriguing complexity. The bouquet is precious and intense, with floral and fruity notes of cherry, red fruit preserves, and small red and black berries. It has a long and persistent finish, mineral and harmonious. A meditation wine to be enjoyed even on its own, Brunello CastelGiocondo by Marchesi Frescobaldi also pairs beautifully with beef fillets, red meats with rich sauces, game, and aged cheeses.
