Description

Barolo Francia by Giacomo Conterno takes its name from the vineyard of the same name located in Serralunga d'Alba, purchased by the company in 1974. It is a Barolo with a classic style, with an extraordinary garnet red color and elegantly transparent. On the nose it is intense and complex, broad, floral and fruity. Licorice and rose accompany notes of ripe red fruit, wild strawberries and sour cherries. On the palate it is tannic and well structured, wonderfully harmonious, characterized by a long and persistent finish. Barolo Francia by Conterno Giacomo is ideal to drink in combination with red meats, roasts and braised meats, game and medium and long-aged cheeses.

Barolo Francia 2020 has been awarded the prestigious Tre Bicchieri award by the Gambero Rosso Guide.
