Description

Barolo docg Riserva Vignolo by Cavallotto is a somptuous red wine made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes coming from the namesake cru in Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of Langhe. The soils give the grapes an excellent structure and a very soft tannin, making the wine immediately ready. In the glass, it is bright ruby red with garnet nuances. The bouquet is intense, composite and complex, with notes of red berries, ripe cherry, spices and light tobacco. The sip is surprisingly elegant and complex with a persistent and balanced aftertaste. Barolo docg Riserva Vignolo by Cavallotto has an excellent ageing potential. We recommend it with game, filled pasta with meat ragout, beef stew or roasted red meat.
