Description

Barolo docg Bricco Boschis by Cavallotto is an extraordinary, vigorous and powerful wine, thanks to the soil of Bricco Boschis, one of the most famous crus where Nebbiolo grapes are grown. The grapes are carefully selected and vinified following the organic guidelines. The must ferments with its indigenous yeasts and the ageing lasts over 36 months in big Slavonia oak barrels. In the glass, it is ruby red with garnet shades. the nose is wide and composite, with fruity hints and notes of spices. The sip is intense, vigorous, with a great aromatic persistence. The tannic texture is clearly perceivable and the aftertaste is surprisingly sapid. We recommend Barolo docg Bricco Boschis by Cavallotto with typical main dishes such as Brasato al Barolo, stewed game or matured cheese. It’s a meditation wine and it can be tasted either now as a young version, or after several years thanks to its excellent ageing potential.
