Description

Barolo docg La Serra by Mauro Molino is made from Nebbiolo grapes sourced from the La Serra Cru, perhaps the most renowned plot of the estate. The grapes, grown at an altitude of around 400 meters with excellent sun exposure, are hand-harvested and whole-cluster pressed to preserve the highest quality. The resulting wine is distinguished by its complexity and elegance. In the glass, it reveals a beautiful garnet red color with bright highlights. The bouquet is rich and spicy, offering notes of chocolate, licorice, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied, long-lasting, and austere, with a significant tannic structure. Barolo docg La Serra by Mauro Molino pairs perfectly with classic traditional dishes such as braised beef in Barolo, stewed veal cheek or game meats
