Description

The Barolo DOCG Conca by Mauro Molino is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in vineyards with calcareous clay soils and excellent southern to southeastern exposure. After manual harvesting in October, the grapes undergo maceration on the skins for several weeks, with fermentation taking place in stainless steel. The subsequent malolactic fermentation is carried out in wood, where the wine is aged for at least 18 months in French oak barrels. In the glass, it reveals a captivating ruby red color with garnet highlights. The nose is rich yet elegant, offering aromas of red fruits, rose petals, and violets. On the palate, it is intense and complex, with a persistent tannic structure and a very long finish. Barolo DOCG Conca by Mauro Molino pairs perfectly with grilled red meats, roasts and braised dishes, game, or aged cheeses.
