The Barbaresco docg Riserva Asili by Produttori del Barbaresco is an elegant red wine, produced with grapes deriving from the “Asili” territory, situated in the district of Barbaresco. The colour of this wine is dark red, with orange nuances, while the smell is really rich of complex perfumes of violet, wild rose, oriental spices and licorice. The taste is rich and warm, but at the same time persistent. The birth of the company dates back to 1894 thanks to Domizio Cavazza, which was the headmaster of the Enological School of Alba and the owner of the Castle of Barbaresco and the adjoining farm.
