Description

The Valpolicella Ripasso by Baertani takes its name from an ancient winemaking technique which involves the "ripasso" of Valpolicella on the Recioto marcs, thus making the wine suitable for longer refinement. The Valpolicella Ripasso by Bertani is obtained from Corvina Veronese grapes combined with a small percentage of Corvinone and Rondinella. At sight it has a beautiful intense ruby red color, with violet reflections. On the nose it exudes fruity fragrances of berries and strawberries, accompanied by spicy and chocolate notes. On the palate it is round and enveloping with a long and persistent finish. Tannic and savory, the Valpolicella Ripasso by Bertani is exceptional to drink in combination with pasta carbonara, roasts and medium-aged cheeses.
