As the other Barolo wines, it presents a ruby red colour with some reflexes; moreover, it owns a classic style that expresses its charming bouquet with floral aroma of rose, dry violets, and remembers of black pepper, tobacco, cinnamon, mature red fruit and hay. For these features, it can be drunk in combination with red meats, game, platters based on the famous white Alba truffle and seasoned cheeses. The Barolo Brunate by Marcarini has a good capacity of aging.
