Description

The Dolcetto d’Alba Fontanazza by Marcarini is a pleasant and easy-drinking wine produced in the hills of the Langhe, particularly around La Morra district. It is not aged in wood to preserve the freshness and straightforward character typical of Dolcetto. Visually, the Dolcetto Fontanazza presents a magnificent ruby red color with beautiful violet reflections. On the nose, it offers an intense and persistent bouquet with floral and fruity notes, including red fruits and forest berries, complemented by spicy hints of vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate, it is pleasant and inviting, characterized by good acidity and a typical slightly bitter finish. The Dolcetto d’Alba Fontanazza from Marcarini pairs well with all dishes of Italian cuisine, especially appetizers, pasta dishes and medium-aged cheeses.
