Description

The Barolo docg Cannubi by Michele Chiarlo is a prestigious red wine made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes sourced from the legendary Cannubi cru, the most famous and prestigious vineyard in the Barolo production area. Thanks to an ideal combination of altitude, exposure, soils, terrain, and microclimate, wines of extraordinary complexity and finesse are born here. After a minimum aging of 3 years, it presents in the glass with a bright and intense garnet ruby red color. On the nose, it offers a complex and refined bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits like cherry and raspberry, accompanied by elegant floral nuances of rose and violet. There are also spicy and balsamic hints, with touches of licorice and tobacco. On the palate, this Barolo stands out for its powerful and enveloping structure, with fine and well-integrated tannins that offer a pleasant velvety sensation. The flavor is rich and harmonious, with a perfect balance between freshness and complexity. The finish is long and persistent, with a slight mineral note that adds depth and character. The Barolo Cannubi by Michele Chiarlo has great aging potential, capable of evolving and improving further over the years. It is ideal to pair with red meat dishes, game, tagliolini with white truffle, mushrooms, and aged cheeses.
