Brilliant ruby red
Wide and enveloping
Rich and aristocratic
The Barolo DOCG Cerequio by Michele Chiarlo is a wine of particular elegance and complexity, made from selected Nebbiolo grapes sourced from the “Cru” Cerequio, situated on a beautifully exposed amphitheater-like hill between the municipalities of La Morra and Barolo. Visually, it presents a vibrant garnet red color with brilliant reflections. On the nose, it impresses with a broad and enveloping bouquet, featuring fruity sensations of blackcurrant and blueberry, accompanied by notes of spices, mint, herbs, and licorice. Its great smoothness, rich and aristocratic body, and fine tannins make it surprisingly delicate and velvety on the palate. Perfect to drink after 5 to 6 years from release, it can easily exceed 20 years of aging. The Barolo Cerequio by Michele Chiarlo pairs wonderfully with roasted and braised red meats, game, dishes with Alba white truffle, and flavorful cheeses.
