Description

The Barolo Pressenda by Marziano Abbona is an elegant and complex red wine, with a very strong and austere structure, obtained from Nebbiolo grapes grown in vineyards over 40 years old located in the Pressenda vineyard, in the Monforte d'Alba area. At sight it has a beautiful ruby red color with garnet reflections, while on the nose there are fruity hints of ripe red fruit, with notes of violet, coffee and liquorice. In the mouth it is full and rich in flavor intensity, fresh, complete, balanced and characterized by excellent persistence. Marziano Abbona's Barolo Pressenda is perfect to drink in combination with a good, tasty meat-based second course, such as braised meat in Barolo or rabbit with peppers. The 2019 vintage for Barolo was considered one of the best by international critics, with wines of great aging potential that could reserve great surprises for us in the future.
