Description

The Lacrima di Morro d'Alba DOC Rubico by Marotti Campi is a distinctive red wine made from pure Lacrima grapes, an indigenous variety of the Marche region. This variety is particularly appreciated for its unique aromatic profile and its ability to produce wines of great character. Visually, it presents an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. On the nose, it offers a rich and complex aromatic bouquet characterized by notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and strawberry, accompanied by floral hints of violet and rose, typical of the Lacrima grape. There are also spicy and slightly balsamic nuances, with notes of myrtle and cinnamon, adding depth and complexity to the aromatic profile. On the palate, the Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Rubico by Marotti Campi is fresh and dry, with well-integrated tannins and good structure. It is medium-bodied with good acidity, featuring a pleasant gustatory persistence that leaves a long and aromatic finish. It is perfect to drink paired with white and red meat dishes, cured meats, medium-aged cheeses, and flavorful first courses.
