Description

The Barbera d’Alba Vigna Carzello by Edoardo Sobrino is an excellent quality red wine, produced with Barbera grapes from the Carzello vineyard in Diano D’Alba. After aging in wood for 12 months, it presents itself with a brilliant ruby red color, with violet reflections. On the nose, it offers an intense and complex aromatic bouquet, with notes of red and black fruits such as cherries, plums, and currants, enriched by floral hints of violet and sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and enveloping, with a pleasant freshness and soft tannins that make it extremely harmonious. Flavors of ripe fruit emerge, accompanied by subtle spicy nuances and a persistent aftertaste. The Barbera d’Alba Vigna Carzello by Edoardo Sobrino pairs perfectly with traditional Piedmontese cuisine. It is the ideal accompaniment for gnocchi with meat sauce and lasagna, risottos, and aged cheeses.
