The Nebbiolo d’Alba Vigna Carzello by Edoardo Sobrino is a red wine of great elegance and structure, produced with Nebbiolo grapes from the Carzello vineyard, located in the prestigious hills of Diano D’Alba, in the heart of Piedmont. The Nebbiolo grapes are harvested manually at the right degree of ripeness and carefully selected. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, followed by aging in oak barrels for a period of 12 months. In appearance, the Nebbiolo d’Alba Vigna Carzello by Edoardo Sobrino presents itself with an intense ruby red color, which tends to fade towards garnet tones with aging. On the nose, it offers a complex and refined bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, accompanied by floral hints of rose and violet. Over time, subtle spicy nuances of black pepper and light balsamic notes emerge. On the palate, the wine is full and harmonious, with fine and velvety tannins that provide pleasant persistence and great structure. Pleasingly fresh, the Nebbiolo d’Alba Vigna Carzello by Edoardo Sobrino pairs magnificently with traditional Piedmontese dishes such as braised meats, roasts, and game. It is also ideal with structured first courses, aged cheeses, and red meats.
