Description

The Roero Roche D'Ampsej by Matteo Correggia owns a great balance and pleasantness. It is produced with 100% Nebbiolo grapes coming from the vineyards situated in back of Canale, in the heart of the Roero territory. This wine presents an intense ruby red colour with some garnet-colored nuances, while the smell of it emanates scents of cherry, plum, blueberries, violet, spices, licorice, black pepper and cinnamon. The taste is warm and at the same time it is endowed with a pleasant softness and perfect balance. For its intense and persistent taste, endowed with a full body and important structure, the Roero Roche D'Ampsej by Matteo Correggia is perfect if drunk together with important platters, as roasted and braised beef, game and seasoned cheeses.
