The Barbaresco Asili of the winery Cà del Baio is made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in one of the most famous Langhe Crus. After aging for 24 months in wood and 6 months in bottle, the glass has a brilliant ruby red with orange nuances. In the nose it develops intense aromas, with fruity and floral notes, in addition to spicy background with hints of black pepper and licorice. The taste is dry and warm, with a pleasing softness and a rich and persistent ending. The Barbaresco Asili by Cà del Baio is excellent if drunk in combination with roasts or braised meat and well-aged cheeses.
