Description

The Barolo Ginestra Ciabot Mentin by Domenico Clerico is a red wine of great prestige, complexity, and personality, exclusively produced with Nebbiolo grapes from the eponymous vineyard located in the renowned cru of Ginestra in Monforte d'Alba. Visually, it presents itself with an intense ruby red color, typical of great Barolos, with garnet reflections that develop with aging. The nose is enveloped in a complex and intriguing bouquet, characterized by notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, alongside floral hints of rose and violet, and spicy undertones of black pepper and cinnamon. On the palate, the Barolo Ginestra Ciabot Mentin by Domenico Clerico offers an extraordinary sensory experience, with a full body and a decisive yet elegant tannic structure. The intense flavors of ripe fruit harmoniously blend with earthy and mineral tones, while the aromatic persistence leaves a pleasant sensation that lingers into the long finish. It pairs perfectly with rich and structured dishes of Piedmontese cuisine, such as roasts and braised meats, or aged cheeses. With great aging potential, it also lends itself to moments of meditation to be enjoyed on its own, in all its magnificence.
