Description

The Barolo del Comune di Monforte d'Alba by Domenico Clerico is a red wine of great prestige and refinement, produced with pure Nebbiolo grapes from the finest vineyards of Monforte d'Alba. On the nose, it reveals an enveloping and complex bouquet, characterized by deep notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries, plums, and raspberries, enriched by floral hints of violet and rose, on a slightly spicy background. On the palate, it stands out for its elegant and full-bodied structure, with well-integrated tannins and a fresh acidity that balances its power. The taste is enveloping and persistent, with a pleasant minerality. The Barolo del Comune di Serralunga by Domenico Clerico is perfect to be enjoyed with traditional Piedmontese dishes such as braised meats, ragù-filled agnolotti, or aged cheeses. With good aging potential, it can also be appreciated on its own to celebrate special moments.
