The Barbaresco Gaiun Martinenga by Marchesi di Gresy is a wine of notable structure and elegance, produced for the first time in 1982 from a selection of the Martinenga vineyard, towards the Asili territory. Produced only in the best vintages, it has a brilliant garnet red color with orange nuances. The bouquet is elegant and fruity, with hints of currants and red fruit jam, with nuances of aromatic herbs at the end. With a velvety, well-structured and harmonious flavour, with well-integrated tannins, it is characterized by a pleasant freshness and notable persistence. The Barbaesco Gaiun Martinenga by Marchesi di Gresy has excellent aging potential and is perfect to drink in combination with important dishes based on red meats, mature cheeses and first courses with rich seasonings.
