Description

Barolo, universally known as "the king of wines, the wine of kings," is a noble and generous wine that has made history in the Italian wine heritage. The Barolo Marcenasco by Renato Ratti has ancient origins: there are documents attesting to the cultivation of Nebbiolo in the Marcenasco area of La Morra as early as the 12th century. Elegant and aristocratic wine, it presents itself with a beautiful intense garnet red color. With great complexity and finesse, on the nose, it offers a broad and enveloping bouquet, floral and spicy, with notes of rose, violet, jams, dried fruit, black pepper, licorice, and tobacco. The barolo Marcenasco by Renato Ratti is perfect to enjoy with grilled red meats, game, dishes featuring white truffle from Alba, and aged cheeses.
