Nipozzano Riserva Chianti Rufina by Marchesi Frescobaldi is a historical winery masterpiece, produced in Castello di Nipozzano, situated near Florence. According to an old belief, Nipozzano means “without shaft” and refers to the soils very poor in water. Despite this defection, these hills are so good to host vineyards. This wine presents a ruby red colour with purple shades; the bouquet is fruity with hints of plum, cherry and wood, spices, vanilla, green pepper and coffee. In the mouth it is dry, well-structures and persistent, pleasantly fresh. Nipozzano Riserva by Marchesi Frescobaldi is recommended with traditional cold cuts, pecorino matured cheese, stuffed meat and the traditional T-bone Fiorentina steak.
