Description

The Barolo Sarmassa Vigna Merenda by Scarzello is an elegant and fine wine, obtained with the best Nebbiolo grapes grown in the historic vineyard within the Sarmassa cru, characterized by different exposures and soils. Barolo wine with great structure and finesse, it is vinified with long macerations and delicate extractions. Aged in large wooden barrels for at least 18 months, the Sarmassa Vigna Merenda is a Barolo wine that is striking for its beautiful clear ruby red color. The nose is floral and fruity, characterized by notes of rose and violet, in addition to cherry and cassis, fine spices and liquorice on the finish. The sip is pleasant and balanced, elegant, characterized by an excellent structure and length. Endowed with well-integrated tannins, the Barolo Barolo Sarmassa Vigna Merenda by Scarzello is perfect to drink in combination with roasted and braised red meats, game and mature cheeses.
