Description

The Barolo del Comune di Barolo by Scarzello is made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in a small vineyard in Terlo and in some parcels within the Cru Sarmassa, in the municipality of Barolo. Barolo wine with a classic and traditional style, very balanced, it is produced with long macerations and delicate extractions. After aging in large wooden barrels for 24 months, it strikes the eye with its beautiful garnet red color. On the nose it expresses an intense and complex bouquet, floral and fruity, with notes of ripe red fruit and jam, rose and violet, blackberry and cherry. In the mouth it is tasty, rich and juicy, characterized by a beautiful structure and fine tannins. A wine with a long and persistent finish, the Barolo del Comune di Barolo di Scarzello is perfect to drink in combination with roast veal, baked lasagna and mature cheeses.
