The Barolo Bricco San Pietro Vigna d'la Roul by Podere Rocche dei Manzoni is made with grapes cultivated on the Bricco San Pietro in Monforte d'Alba and takes its name from the oak tree in the middle of the vineyard, the "roul" in fact. It is the most virile red wine of the winery and it spends a year of aging in bottle after three years of aging in barriques. Garish ruby red coloured with garnet hues, in the nose there is a well-balanced bouquet of hints of red fruit, vanilla and chocolate. On the palate, it is intense, tannic with a long persistent final. The Barolo Bricco San Pietro Vigna d'la Roul by Podere Rocche dei Manzoni is perfect to drink paired with roasts and aged cheeses.
