The Barbaresco Montefico by Carlo Giacosa winery is an elegant red wine, produced with Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in the Montefico cru in Barbaresco. After aging in large French oak barrels for 26 months, the wine shows a beautiful ruby red color. The nose is intense, very elegant and floral with notes of small ripe red fruits and jam. Harmonious, full, balanced and well structured, the Barbaresco Montefico by Carlo Giacosa is perfect to taste in combination with main courses of meat and aged cheeses.
