The Barbaresco Asili by Carlo Giacosa is an elegant red wine, produced with a selection of the best Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in the Asili cru in Barbaresco village. The wine has a beautiful garnet red color; the nose is broad and floral with notes of sweet and well ripe fruit. In the mouth its taste is elegant, pleasing, well balanced and with a good structure. The Barbaresco Asili of Carlo Giacosa is perfect to drink in combination with main courses of red meat, such as roasted and braised meat, or with lasagne with ragù or risotto with porcini mushrooms.
