Description

The Roero Roce d'Ampsej by Matteo Correggia is a wine of great balance and pleasantness, produced with 100% Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in own vineyards in the heart of the Roero region. After aging in wood for at least 14 months and in bottle for two years, it has an intense ruby ​​red color with garnet reflections. In the nose it emanes a large and refined bouquet, with notes of cherry, plum, blueberries, violet and spicy hints of licorice, black pepper and cinnamon. The taste is pleasantly warm and well balanced, with soft tannins. With an intense and persistent taste, full body and important structure, the Roero Roche d'Ampsej by Matteo Correggia is perfect to drink in combination with roasted and braised red meat, aged cheeses or alone at the end of meal.
