Description

Barolo “Vignarionda” by Oddero is a red wine with a great balance and harmony. It is produced with Nebbiolo grapes coming from the famous “Vignarionda” vineyard, thus called for its particular amphitheatre structure, within a sunny valley in Serralunga district. This wine has a ruby red colour and an elegant and soft bouquet, with notes of mixed berries, spice, dark chocolate, licorice and tobacco. The taste is pleasant, intense and persistent; it has strong tannins, a good structure and an excellent persistence. Barolo “Vignarionda” is perfect can bed paired with roasted or stuffed red meat, game and mature cheese. This wine has an excellent ageing potential.

All along Oddero family is owner of vineyards, so it is very difficult to establish a precise beginning of the wine making process.
