Description

The “Francia” Barolo of Conterno is a red wine that takes its name from the homonymous vineyard in Serralunga d’Alba, purchased by Giacomo Conterno in 1974. This Barolo wine owns a classic style, while its colour is an intense ruby red colour and a little bit transparent. This wine presents an intense, various, floral and fruited perfume, with some scents of mature red fruit, strawberries, rose and violet, together with those of licorice and tobacco. Antonio Galloni defined Barolo Francia 2017 as “rich and explosive” and he rated it with 97 points.
