Description

The Barolo wine is known as the “king of all wines, the wine of king”: in fact, it is a noble and generous wine that has given birth to the history of the Italian oenology. This “Mercenasco” Barolo wine has old origins: there are “Rigestum Comunis Albae” that testify the Nebbiolo grapes’ cultivation in the area of “Marcenascum” in La Morra. This is an elegant and aristocratic wine that shows an intense ruby red colour, while it includes a various, floral and spiced bouquet with scents of rose, violet, blueberries, jams, fruit, black pepper and licorice. So, thanks to its peculiarities this wine is perfect if drunk together with red meats, as roasts, game, platters based on the white Alba truffle, seasoned cheeses.
