The Barbera d'Alba of Francesco Rinaldi & Figli winery is a traditional Piedmontese wine made with Barbera grapes grown in the Langa hills between Barolo and Novello. The wine shows a beautiful intense ruby red color with violet reflections; the nose expresses a fruity, intense and ethereal bouquet. The mouthfeel is ample, tannic, fresh, with good body and structure. A wine suitable for ageing, the Barbera d'Alba of Francesco Rinaldi and Figli is perfect to drink in combination with tasty main courses based on meat, such as a good roast or stew; it is also great in combination with medium aged cheeses.
