Description

The Barbera Bricco della Bigotta of Braida is a rich and intense red wine produced exclusively with Barbera grapes grown in the area of Rocchetta Tanaro. The Barbera "Bricco Bigotta" is with the "Bricco dell'Uccellone" the top wine of the company. His name is a nice reference to an old lady who lived near the vineyard of Barbera of Giacomo Bologna. After an aging of 15 months in barrique and a further year in bottle, the wine shows a beautiful dark red color and violet reflections. The nose develops intense and fresh aromas, elegant with fruity and floral notes of plum and violet. In the mouth it is ripe, juicy, characterized by a good balance and an excellent mix of fruits and spices. The Barbera d'Asti Bricco della Bigotta is perfect to drink in combination with a good porcini mushroom risotto, homemade tagliatelle with meat sauce or roasted meats.
