The Barbera d’Asti Pomorosso of Coppo is produced starting from grapes that come from Agliano, Castelnuovo Calce territories, in Monferrato area; it presents an intense ruby red colour, inclined to yellow-crowned. This wine is able to emanates intense perfumes of mature red fruits, as blackberry, cherry and violet, joined to hints of warm soil, spices and tobacco. Moreover, this wine is endowed with a good structure, while the taste is an intense one, at the same time long and persistent. It is perfect together with cannelloni, lasagne, platters based on meat, salami and medium seasoned cheeses.
