Description

Domenico Clerico has dedicated this “PerCristina” Barolo wine to his unfortunate daughter dead when she was only 7 years old. This wine is endowed with great personality and it is only produced in the best years with selected Nebbiolo grapes, coming from different vineyards of Clerico’s property. The colour of it is an intense ruby red one, while the smell is really rich and includes a fruited and spiced bouquet of blackberries, black currant, cinnamon, vanilla, dark cacao and spices. Moreover, the taste is elegant and complex, but at the same time persistent. In fact, the BArolo PerCristina by Domenico Clerico is perfect if drunk together with roasted and braised beef, game, platters based on the famous Alba truffle and seasoned cheeses.
