Description
Champagne Brut by Maison Nominé-Renard is a champagne produced in the Marne region, in the heart of the Champagne appellation. The cuvée is made up of 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier, with the particularity of being composed of 25% reserve base wine from previous vintages. The grapes are selected from six different crus and the vineyards are between 35 and 70 years old. The sparkling process obviously follows the champenoise method and the wine rests on its lees for 30 months. In the glass it reveals an elegant straw yellow with bright golden reflections. The bouquet is fresh, broad and varied, with notes of citrus peel, yellow peach and deeper hints of dry pastries and butter biscuits. On the palate it is fresh, balanced, crunchy, with a delicate acidity that prolongs the length of the drink. The finish is pleasantly savoury. Champagne Bruit Nominé from Maison Nominé-Renard is perfect for special occasions, as an elegant aperitif, or paired with risotto with white truffle or delicate fish and seafood dishes.
