In 1995 Alberto Antonimi, a Tuscan oenologist, decided to explore the main territories of Argentina, looking for new opportunities for investment. Antonini returned to Italy with a great interest for those territories, and above all he began to think to create a cave in Mendoza: so in 1995 he bought 216 hectares of vineyards in that area. Later some businessmen joined to this activity, and now the cave is their passion.
