We have selected the best sparkling wines from the national territory. On our wine list, you will find not only the most famous labels but also high-quality sparkling wines from small Italian producers.
Sparkling wines are known for their liveliness and freshness, thanks to the presence of bubbles created naturally during fermentation. They are highly appreciated for their freshness and versatility, making them perfect for celebrations, aperitifs, or to accompany an entire meal. The main production methods are the traditional method (or Champenoise), with fermentation in bottle, and the Charmat method (or Martinotti), with fermentation in a pressure tank. Sparkling wines produced using the traditional method are distinguished by finer bubbles, more complex flavors, and a smoother taste. Aromas range from fresh fruit notes, such as apple, pear, citrus, and peach, to more complex hints of yeast, toasted bread, almond, and butter, especially in wines made using the traditional method. Among the most famous varieties are Prosecco, Franciacorta, Trento DOC, and Alta Langa, each with unique characteristics linked to the grape variety and the region of origin.
