Domaine Patrick Baudouin is a 13-hectare estate in the heart of Loire valley, on the west side of Anjou. The grapes grow into soils rich in sandstone and volcanic rocks. The overall viticulture follows the certified organic principles to respect and preserve the delicate balance between human intervention and the ecosystem. The outdoor works are handmade and the use of mechanised system is rare. In fact, the estate is famous to use horses as helpers into the vineyards. Into the cellar the same philosophy is applied: wines are given to light, not produced. So, each bottle is an authentic expression of its terroir, with surprising ageing potential.
