Domaine Lelarge-Pugeot is an ancient winery whose oenological tradition dates back to more than 200 years ago. Historically, Lelarge family was established in Vrigny village, a small town within Champagne region. There, they started growing their own vineyards, and at the beginning of the Thirties, they started making the first bottles. Domaine Lelarge-Pugeot has been producing Champagne since 8 generations, and is famous for high quality and authentic bubbles. The estate takes care of the environmental sustainability, respecting nature and protecting biodiversity through best practices such as maintain rows with grass, use of horses during hard works and avoiding any chemical fertilizer. In 2010, the winery was officially awarded with the organic certification and now part of the vineyards are grown following the biodynamic guidelines.
Domaine Lelarge-Pugeot aims at making very high quality Champagne, using specific vinification and ageing techniques able to give the wine more complexity and aromatic deepness. Their wines celebrate the family passion and winemaking tradition and a pleasant balance among freshness, minerality and structure characterizes them, along with a unique and specific character.
