In 1954, Philippe Bizouard bought the Chateau Du Breuil castle to found his distillery. Classified as historical monument, the Chateau du Breuil gives us every year 350000 bottles of the famous and excellent Calvados. The mild climate and the soil rich of clay and nitrogen of the Pays d'Auge are ideal to obtain high quality apples, from which on extract must that ferments naturally. The Calvados obtained is not only an excellent digestive, but also an essential component of renowned cocktails.
