Pascal Dartigalongue, who coming from a family of Spanish winemakers grew up in the world of wine and vineyards, founded the Dartigalongue winery in the 1817. In 1838 the company settled in Nogaro, in south-western France, where it was understood that the Armagnac was a product with great potential that could be exported all over the world. Nowaday, as in the 19th century, the company’s mission is to produce Bas Armagnac of quality, distilling local wines and using oak barrels for aging that date back to the 1800s. The Bas Armagnac Dartigalongue age for a minimum period of 5 years up to many decades.
