All along the Botran family is known for the production of sugar cane, even if the rum’s tradition of this family begins in the far Guatemala in 1939, when five brothers have discovered this area, perfect for the ageing ’s rum. The main characteristic of this Rum’s variety is the long procedure that is called ‘Sistema Solera’, that joins new and old rum.Moreover, Botran family has gained lots of awards and praises for the complexity and the richness of this rum by the critics.
