Palacio de Bornos

This cave has begun to work in 1870 in the town of La Seca, and during the period of the national and international growth its wines were already famous in Castiglia. In 1976 Sanz family decided to build a new cave in the town of Rueda, considered the mother of the Verdejo vineyard: in this manner, the history of Borno Palace began. Today, in fact, it is became one of the most known symbol of the Rueda area, and it occupies 220 hectares of vineyards, included those of La Seca and of Rueda. Furthermore, the continental climate, with sudden changes of temperature between night and day, is the secret of the wonderful balance of sugars and acidity that are hidden in these vineyards.
